Luck Will Find You
Maybe you are one of those people who has always seemed to be in the right place at the right time. Or you are one of those people who feels that luck has never been on their side.
I am here to tell you that, in fact, you are capable of creating your own luck in life and those that seemingly “get lucky” in life, actually have been manifesting those events all on their own.
To clear the air, there is a vast difference between luck and chance. Chance would be winning a lotto ticket, or the free trip to Bali. So if you are basing your “luck” on those things, a mind shift is going to be necessary.
The first, and I would argue, the most important way to manifest more luck in your life is to be open to new experiences. When you carry a one track mind and only focus on the things you can control, you miss all the (lucky) opportunities that lie in between. If you are able to relinquish the control of the exact events that are happening to you and for you, something new and exciting and lucky might happen!
Another way to acknowledge more luck in your life is to simply trust that good things can happen to you. If you approach life pessimistically, then you won’t even see luck if it slapped you in the face. Trust that the universe is working for you, and it wants good things to happen to you.
If you are still struggling to see where more luck could be possible in your life, I promise this last opportunity will do the trick. For a lot of my adult life, I viewed my mistakes or misfortunate events as negatives and dwelled on the question of, “why did this happen to me?” And with a simple mindset shift, I was able to start seeing those moments as teaching moments, instead of burdens upon my life. When you can start to shift your mindset to, “how is this going to serve me?” You are able to observe seemingly inopportune moments as the intervention necessary for you to move forward. That’s pretty damn lucky.
Luck is your mindset. Relinquish your expectations, put in the work towards your goals, and set your mind free. Luck will find you.
In order for anything to happen in your life, you must believe that you deserve it. The way I make this possible is to state a daily mantra. I have one that I say every day, and then I come up with a “mantra of the day,” that will allow me to achieve the goals I have set for that day.
My everyday mantra..
“I am strong, I am smart, I am resilient.”
When I am working towards a larger goal or achievement, I add..
“I am lucky, I am deserving, I am worth it.”
What would your daily mantra be? Start with three statements and build from there, depending on your day and what you have going on in your life at the moment. When you begin to feel “unlucky,” read those mantras out loud.
So now, let us recap how it is possible to create your own luck, and how it does not happen by chance. Your luck is created through your attitude and outlook on life. You must believe that you deserve good things to happen to you and for you. Be open to new experiences and begin shifting your mindset to observe every experience, good or bad, as a learning and growing experience and exactly what was supposed to happen. And lastly, create the idea that you already have within you, the power to attract luck into your life.
Stay weird, speak truth, love fully.

I am a dreamer. I want to have my eggs in a lot of different baskets. I want to travel the world, I want to see all of the people, I want to live my life as full and bright as I can. Having a dream as big as I do, it is important for me to maintain a perception of my own self as someone who can achieve these kinds of dreams.
