Study Habits and Challenges for Chiropractic Students

Johnny Reuter

Week In Summary: September 21-September 27, 2020

It is a GREAT week to be a Legendary Chiropractor!

Thought-provoking question this week is: How are you going to finish the last quarter of 2020?

The first half of Quarter 1 started off great, however, things quickly went downhill in most regards after that. Now it is time to make up for it and end this crazy year on a high note!

Quarter 4 is one of my favorite quarters of the year. The weather here in Chicago quickly becomes sweater-weather, and then it snows and we get a white blanket to dampen the hustle and bustle of everyday life and rushing.

Updates:

  • ANNOUNCEMENT: Watch Season 7, Episode 12 to find out more about how our podcast is here to stay, with a change to its format :)
  • We are officially well on our way to 500 members in our Legendary Chiro community!
  • We are going to be having our Q4 virtual team meeting coming up at the beginning of October where we recap the year and discuss the future roadmap we are heading down.
  • Small insight to 2021- you are going to be seeing us around at many chiropractic events! Supporting those that support us, and looking for further engagement with our new release that is coming at the end of this year/beginning of next.

Think deep about the question posed this week, and make it a POWERFUL WEEK!

Until next time...

Stay legendary my friend,

Johnny

September Student Topic: Boards Preparation

Tips, Tricks, & Takeaways:

  1. Study Habits

Understand your study habits and then determine how much time it will take you to go over all the material. Set daily goals or make a study plan that will help you keep on track so you can get through the material at your own pace:

  1. Most start a month away
  2. Different programs start at different times
  3. Do well in class = do well on boards

Check out the video I made for you on study habits and the three key takeaways above in our Legendary Chiro Free Group on Facebook!

  1. Challenge

The board exams are challenging but believe in yourself and the preparation your school has provided you. There are outside resources for you to use if you want more information. Creating study groups with your peers is another great way to challenge and help each other learn.

  1. Part 1, 2, 3, 4 and PT
  2. The hardest one depends on the individual
  3. Part 4 is live

Be sure to watch the video I did on challenge here.
